Marc Gunn is an acoustic folk musician based in New Orleans. His music is rooted in the American Celtic song tradition, and his preference of musical instruments-the autoharp-make him stand out as something unique in the Celtic musical community. The Marc Gunn Celtic Music app gives you easy on-the-go access to Marc's music videos, blog, show times, Celtic MP3 Music Magazine, and, of course, the Irish & Celtic Music and Pub Songs Podcasts.

Application Features

The carousel interface on the main page is manipulated as follows:

• Swipe left or right to spin the carousel one spot at a time.
• Use the left or right arrows to spin the carousel one spot at a time.
• If you have a trackball, spin it left or right to spin the carousel one spot at a time.
• You can also use the Rotate Left/Right menu options to spin the carousel one spot at a time
• Either tap the foremost image (selected item) or press the enter or center button on the directional pad to go to the selected function.

This application will retrieve much of its information from the internet. As such, you will need to have a good connection for those features to work.

Please take a look at the Help (via Help menu option) if you have questions.

Customization Options

Marc Gunn Music can be customized to your personal tastes by choosing the Preferences menu item and selecting the appropriate options.

Blog Preference

Choose how many items are displayed in the list (from the latest back). This can help to improve your response time by limiting the size of the files being retrieved.

ICMP Podcast Preference

Choose how many items are displayed in the list (from the latest back). This can help to improve your response time by limiting the size of the files being retrieved.

Pub Songs Podcast Preference

Choose how many items are displayed in the list (from the latest back). This can help to improve your response time by limiting the size of the files being retrieved.

Celtic MP3s Music Magazine Preference

Choose how many items are displayed in the list (from the latest back). This can help to improve your response time by limiting the size of the files being retrieved.

Carousel Behavior Preference

Set the sensitivity on the carousel screen to the swipe left/right actions. Choose from Low (default), Medium, and High. The higher levels reduce the distance and speed required to register the gesture.

Device Issues

For the most part, Android developers can't afford to have one version of every phone made and our development environment doesn't emulate the different physical phones, but rather the base OS. This means that we can't test all possible scenarios and, instead, rely on feedback to know what is going on in the real world. With a number of new devices announced every day, we are going to see some interesting things I believe. So, if you have a problem, I would appreciate it if you would please contact me rather than leave another comment that the application "doesn't work" (which really isn't that helpful).

Remember, there is no way to effectively provide support via the market. Developers can't contact people who leave comments, we can't respond to comments directly, we only have 325 characters to describe the application, and so on. So, if you have an issue, try to contact me first. I would really like to have the opportunity to help you.
